Project Logistics Manager

About the role

The Project Logistics Manager oversees end‑to‑end supply chain, marine transport and field logistics for ADNOC offshore oil and gas projects, ensuring safe, compliant and cost‑effective movement of cargo, heavy lifts and personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Manage vessel dispatch, chartering and quay operations for supply vessels, barges, tugs and crew boats across major Abu Dhabi ports.
• Coordinate marine load‑outs, heavy lifts, offshore offloading and monitor weather, tide and site access constraints.
• Develop logistics management plans, secure CICPA passes, customs clearances and manage import/export documentation with UAE authorities.
• Oversee warehousing, inventory control and tracking using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).
• Act as primary logistics liaison with ADNOC, contractors, port authorities and third‑party providers.
• Ensure zero‑harm operations, approve risk assessments, JSA, method statements and comply with SOLAS, MARPOL and UAE maritime laws.
• Control logistics budgets, track vessel charter rates, fuel consumption and generate KPI reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years logistics and supply chain experience in oil & gas, offshore EPC or marine construction.
• At least 8 years in a managerial role with direct experience on ADNOC offshore projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

• Marine logistics (vessel spreads, barges chartering, heavy lift engineering).
• CICPA pass clearances and UAE customs regulations.

• Project scheduling tools – Primavera and MS Project.
• Marine tracking tools.
