Project Manager - Data Centres

About the role

WSP is looking for a Project Manager for its Data Centre practice. The role sits in a multidisciplinary design consultancy and delivers complex Data Centre projects across the region, leading integrated design teams covering architecture, building engineering, specialist disciplines, infrastructure, utilities and master planning. It is client-facing and covers projects from initiation through to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Data Centre projects from initiation to completion and act as key point of contact for clients
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets and resource plans
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams and subconsultants, and monitor progress against objectives
• Identify, manage and mitigate risks and issues, and support design assurance and technical governance
• Ensure compliance with regulations, standards and health and safety requirements
• Support approvals, permits, stakeholder agreements, and prepare project reports
• Support commercial management, including cost control, change management and contract administration

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline
• Minimum 7 years of project management experience in a design practice
• Experience managing Data Centre projects through multiple phases and coordinating multidisciplinary teams
• Strong client-facing experience, preferably in a consultancy, engineering or project delivery environment
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Professional certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are advantageous
