Project Manager – Dubai Airport Expansion

About the role

The Lead Project Manager will act as the chief site authority for the Al Maktoum International Airport Expansion, overseeing large‑span metallic roof enclosures, architectural facades, structural steel and BIPV solutions. You will be responsible for delivering the work package on time, safely and profitably.

Key responsibilities

• Direct all project resources and enforce the master construction programme using Primavera P6, ensuring critical milestones such as "Dry‑in/Water‑Tight" are met.
• Serve as the primary liaison with Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects, the main contractor JV and Tier‑1 supervising consultants, leading progress and technical coordination meetings.
• Administer FIDIC contracts, prepare and negotiate Extension of Time claims, Variation Orders and other commercial claims to protect profitability.
• Implement QA/QC standards to achieve zero‑leakage roofing, pass wind‑uplift and air‑permeability tests, and comply with IATA and civil aviation codes.
• Lead a multinational project team and coordinate with domestic fabrication facilities and global procurement to deliver a seamless modular assembly model.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of progressive international project management experience on mega‑scale infrastructure, preferably airport or aviation hub projects.
• Proven full‑lifecycle delivery experience in the Middle East/GCC region is a strong advantage.
• Experience working with leading Chinese international contractors is a plus.
