Project Manager – Engineering Projects

About the role

The Project Manager will lead the development and implementation of major multi‑disciplinary engineering projects, from concept through to commissioning and hand‑over. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical input during proposal and concept phases, coordinating design and material specifications.
• Manage procurement, tendering, and contract negotiations with external parties.
• Supervise Project Management Consultants and ensure effective site supervision and project administration.
• Direct multidisciplinary engineering teams through all project phases, including initiation, execution, commissioning, and start‑up.
• Oversee multinational contractors, ensuring adherence to project management principles and HSE requirements.
• Participate in and lead company‑wide committees, offering expertise in project execution.
• Develop work programmes, terms of reference, project standards, and operating procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale engineering or plant development projects.
• Strong ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external contractors.
• Excellent understanding of project lifecycle, cost control, and risk management.
• Familiarity with HSE regulations and compliance standards.
