Project Manager – Engineering Projects

About the role

The Project Manager will lead the development and delivery of large, multi‑disciplinary engineering projects, from concept through to commissioning and hand‑over. You will be responsible for coordinating design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities while ensuring compliance with safety, quality and cost targets.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical input during proposal and concept phases and coordinate design and material specifications.
• Manage procurement, tendering and contract negotiations with multinational contractors.
• Supervise site activities, ensure effective project administration and report progress to senior management.
• Lead cross‑functional engineering teams through all project phases, including initiation, execution, commissioning and start‑up.
• Ensure projects comply with HSE requirements, company standards and shareholder guidelines.
• Participate in company committees, provide expertise, and guide strategic project decisions.
• Develop work programmes, terms of reference, and project standards; oversee pre‑qualification of bidders.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large, multi‑disciplinary engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, HSE standards and engineering procurement.
• Ability to lead multinational contractor teams and coordinate with external stakeholders.
• Excellent supervisory and financial authority skills at the level required for project execution.
