Project Manager Future Campus Development

About the role

POWERTECH Engines is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of the new Powertech Campus at Tawazun Industrial Park. Reporting to the Head of Program Management, you will be responsible for steering the project from design and approvals through construction, commissioning and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an integrated project plan covering scope, milestones, schedules, deliverables, risks and dependencies.
• Lead all phases of the campus development, ensuring progress from design through construction, commissioning and final handover.
• Monitor performance, implement corrective actions and report status, risks and decisions to senior leadership.
• Coordinate with POWERTECH, EDGE General Facilities Management, Tawazun Industrial Park, consultants, contractors, legal counsel and government authorities.
• Secure permits and approvals from Abu Dhabi Civil Defence, Abu Dhabi Municipality and other relevant bodies.
• Support contract drafting, negotiation, administration and monitor contractual obligations and commercial risks.
• Manage consultants, contractors and vendors to ensure quality, schedule and contractual performance.
• Develop and control project budgets, forecasts and cost optimisation opportunities.
• Maintain governance documentation such as risk registers, decision logs, schedules and status reports.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, environmental requirements, company policies and safety standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in campus, real‑estate, infrastructure, industrial or large‑scale development projects.
• Proven track record of managing projects from design and permitting through construction and handover.
• Strong experience in contract management and working closely with legal counsel.
• Demonstrated ability to engage government authorities, regulatory bodies and external stakeholders.
