Project Manager

About the role

You will lead the development and implementation of large, multi‑disciplinary engineering projects from concept through hand‑over, covering new plants, facilities and modifications to existing assets. The role requires close coordination with internal teams, contractors, consultants and stakeholders to ensure projects meet technical, safety, quality and schedule objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical input for proposals and coordinate engineering design activities.
• Manage material specifications, procurement processes and contract tendering.
• Interface with contractors, consultants and stakeholders to ensure compliance with codes, standards and HSE requirements.
• Oversee Project Management Consultants (PMC) and direct site supervision, project administration and progress reporting.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams through initiation, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and start‑up.
• Control project budgets, contract costs, variation orders and authorisations for expenditure.
• Develop and monitor project safety programs, audit contractor compliance and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare weekly highlights and monthly progress reports covering engineering, procurement, construction, cost, schedule and safety performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large engineering or construction projects end‑to‑end.
• Strong knowledge of industry codes, standards and HSE regulations.
• Ability to manage multinational contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with project budgeting, cost control and financial authorisations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
