Project Manager - Professional Kitchen

About the role

A full-time on-site Project Manager for professional kitchens is needed in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role ensures that commercial kitchen projects are completed on time, within budget and to the client's satisfaction, combining project management, technical knowledge and interpersonal skills to lead the team and coordinate all project aspects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans covering timelines, budgets and resource allocation for kitchen installations or renovations.
• Coordinate all project phases from inception to completion in line with client specifications and company standards.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to finalise kitchen designs and layouts.
• Review kitchen layouts, MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing), ventilation systems and custom fabrication drawings.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, handling their concerns and scope changes.
• Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, subcontractors and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and control project budgets, identify risks such as delays or cost overruns and prepare regular progress reports.
• Maintain accurate records of progress, meeting minutes, change orders and scope modifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 8-10 years of experience in a similar role for kitchen contracting companies.
• Experience in commercial kitchen and MEP design and installation, and proven experience in stainless steel (SS) custom fabrication.
• Knowledge of food service authority rules and regulations and of building codes and industry standards.
• Certification in project management is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong communication, negotiation and multi-project management skills.
