Project Manager – R&D Innovation

About the role

The Project Manager will lead multidisciplinary research and development initiatives, guiding projects from concept through delivery. This mid‑to‑senior position ensures alignment with strategic objectives while maintaining high standards for quality, budget, and timeline.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor, and close R&D projects, overseeing resources, schedules, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans with timelines, milestones, risk assessments, and contingency measures.
• Facilitate collaboration among scientists, engineers, and technical experts.
• Apply project management methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2, Agile) to track progress and address deviations.
• Manage budgets, track expenditures, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare regular status reports and presentations for executives and external partners.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiations as needed.
• Capture lessons learned and promote continuous improvement in project practices.
