Project Manager – Structural Expert (Road Infrastructure)

About the role

Bilfinger is seeking a seasoned Project Manager with deep expertise in structural engineering to lead road infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality bridge, tunnel, precast and post‑tensioned structures while ensuring compliance with UAE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage structural engineering works for road and infrastructure projects.
• Review and coordinate structural designs, tender drawings, calculations, specifications and technical submissions.
• Ensure designs meet Abu Dhabi and Al Ain Municipalities requirements and applicable UAE standards.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor design quality, technical compliance, project progress and deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance to structural engineers and design teams.
• Support tendering and technical proposal activities, including design and tender documentation review.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Equivalency Certificate accepted).
• Approximately 20 years of experience in structural engineering and project management.
• Strong background in road infrastructure, bridges, tunnels, precast and cast‑in‑place post‑tensioned structures.
• Proven ability to work with UAE authorities and municipal requirements.
