Project Procurement Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities for major Oil & Gas EPC projects. The role ensures timely acquisition of materials, equipment and services while maintaining schedules, budgets, quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute project‑specific procurement strategies aligned with objectives, schedules and budgets.
• Ensure procurement governance and compliance with company policies, contractual and legal requirements.
• Lead supplier qualification, evaluation, selection, onboarding and performance reviews.
• Negotiate commercial terms, contracts and framework agreements to maximize project value.
• Partner with Project Controls and Finance to manage procurement budgets and drive cost‑saving initiatives.
• Utilise ERP and MIS systems for performance monitoring, KPI reporting and data‑driven improvement.
• Oversee inventory management, material tracking and logistics coordination to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Identify, assess and mitigate procurement‑related risks and maintain risk registers.
• Lead, mentor and develop the project procurement team.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineering, Construction, Quality, Operations and Finance to provide regular updates and support project success.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of procurement experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience managing procurement for Oil & Gas EPC projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional procurement certification (CIPS, CPSM, CPM or equivalent).
