Project Public Relations Officer (Projects PRO)

About the role

The Projects Public Relations Officer (Projects PRO) supports the planning, mobilisation, execution and close‑out of projects in Abu Dhabi. Acting as a central hub, the role ensures that project documentation, permits, stakeholder communications and operational requirements are managed efficiently and delivered on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation to close‑out.
• Coordinate and maintain project documentation, permits, approvals and records.
• Track action items, deliverables, milestones and prepare status updates.
• Organise project meetings, capture minutes and maintain action logs.
• Support logistics for personnel, equipment, accommodation, transport and site access.
• Maintain project trackers, registers and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with permits, licences and certifications, and manage renewals.
• Serve as the primary contact for client communications related to mobilisation, documentation and logistics.
• Coordinate heavy‑transport and road permits where required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project coordination, public relations or stakeholder liaison within a construction or engineering environment.
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
