Project Quality Manager

About the role

Ali & Sons Marine Engineering Factory (ASMEF) is seeking an experienced Project Quality Manager to lead quality assurance and control activities for its Process Modules EPC project in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain Project Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and project‑specific quality procedures.
• Lead all QA/QC activities throughout the project lifecycle and report performance metrics to the QA/QC Manager and Project Management Team.
• Act as the primary liaison with clients, third‑party inspectors, auditors and regulatory authorities on quality matters.
• Mentor and manage the project QA/QC team to achieve quality objectives and KPIs.
• Conduct proactive surveillance, inspections, audits and verification across construction and fabrication disciplines.
• Provide technical guidance to Construction Management Teams on quality requirements and best practices.
• Investigate non‑conformities, drive corrective and preventive actions, and ensure timely closure of NCRs and audit findings.
• Maintain complete project quality records, inspection documentation and turnover dossiers.

Required profile

• Extensive experience (approximately 20 years) in project quality management within EPC projects, preferably in oil & gas or marine sectors.
• Proven ability to lead and develop QA/QC teams and to interact effectively with clients and regulatory bodies.
• Strong knowledge of applicable codes, standards and contractual quality requirements.
