Project Quality Manager

About the role

Waagner Biro Bridge Services is seeking an experienced Project Quality Manager to lead quality assurance and control across marine and bridge construction projects in the UAE. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a robust Quality Management System that meets client specifications, ISO standards, and company procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements and applicable quality standards.
• Manage all QA/QC activities for marine and bridge construction, including piling, quay walls, jetties, pontoons, breakwaters, bridges, structural steel and concrete works.
• Review and approve quality documentation, inspection reports, material submittals and method statements.
• Coordinate inspections with clients, consultants, third‑party inspectors and authorities.
• Lead internal and external quality audits, investigate non‑conformities and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain quality records, testing reports and project documentation, ensuring ISO 9001 compliance.
• Prepare quality performance reports and present findings to project management.
• Support project handover by completing all quality documentation and close‑out requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of construction industry experience, with at least 8 years in a Quality Manager or QA/QC Manager role.
• Proven experience on marine and bridge construction projects, including jetties, pontoons, quay walls, breakwaters and piling.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification preferred.
• Experience on GCC/UAE projects preferred.
