Projects Construction Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Projects Construction Manager to lead all site execution activities for overhead line (OHL) and underground (UG) cable works in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures safety, quality and timely delivery while coordinating civil and electrical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead site execution for OHL and UG cable works, ensuring safety, quality and schedule compliance.
• Develop weekly and monthly execution plans, aligning manpower, equipment and material resources.
• Supervise civil and electrical teams for foundation works, tower erection, stringing, trenching and cable installation.
• Review and approve method statements, risk assessments and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) before work starts.
• Coordinate with client and consultant for inspections, approvals and work clearances.
• Monitor project progress, prepare daily/weekly reports and identify delays or bottlenecks.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, design drawings and quality standards.
• Conduct safety briefings, toolbox talks and enforce strict HSE protocols.
• Coordinate interface activities between OHL, UG cable and substation teams.
• Verify material deliveries, storage and handling on site.
• Assist Project Manager with progress billing, change management and technical correspondence.
• Prepare as‑built drawings, final test reports and handover documentation.
