Property Maintenance Coordinator

About the role

The Property Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily maintenance and repair activities across residential, commercial and managed properties. You will act as the central point of contact for tenants, owners, contractors and service providers to ensure properties remain safe, functional and well‑maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, log, prioritize and follow up on maintenance requests.
• Coordinate preventive and reactive maintenance, scheduling work with tenants, owners and approved contractors.
• Assign jobs, monitor progress and verify completion against quality and compliance standards.
• Obtain and compare quotations, manage inspections, repairs and routine servicing.
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, invoices, warranties and service reports.
• Monitor contractor performance, attendance and adherence to timelines.
• Handle emergency maintenance and escalate high‑risk issues.
• Support property inspections, identify safety and repair needs, and manage preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and building systems.
• Liaise with suppliers, review invoices and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Prepare management reports, communicate with tenants and assist with budgeting, planning and cost control.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in property maintenance, facilities coordination, building management or a similar role.
• Proven experience coordinating contractors and service providers.
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Property Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
