Psychology Teacher (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a qualified Psychology Teacher to join its Abu Dhabi schools from August 2027. The role involves delivering psychology curriculum to secondary students, fostering an inclusive and innovative learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging psychology lessons aligned with curriculum objectives.
• Set challenging tasks, assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a safe, supportive classroom that meets health, safety and safeguarding policies.
• Use assessment data and performance indicators to plan differentiated instruction.
• Identify and support SEN or gifted learners, adapting teaching strategies as needed.
• Record and monitor student achievement, preparing reports for parents and examination bodies.
• Participate in staff briefings, training sessions and school-wide initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field with a recognized teaching qualification.
• Minimum two years of experience teaching psychology or a specialist subject at GCSE/A‑Level (desirable).
• Experience working with students for whom English is not the first language.
