Public Relation and Social Media Assistant Manager

About the role

Join Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort as a Public Relation and Social Media Assistant Manager. You will support the creation and execution of the resort’s PR strategy and social media presence, helping to showcase its luxury hospitality, wellness, and sustainability initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing the annual public relations strategy and communications calendar.
• Build and maintain relationships with local, regional and international media, editors, journalists and industry contacts.
• Draft, coordinate and distribute press releases, media alerts, fact sheets and talking points in line with brand standards.
• Organise media stays, interviews, press visits and hosted experiences, providing on‑site support and post‑visit follow‑up.
• Monitor media coverage and identify opportunities to enhance awareness of the resort’s offerings.
• Support the planning and execution of social media strategies across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and other platforms.
• Manage the daily social media calendar, ensuring a balanced mix of content that highlights rooms, villas, dining, spa, events and brand storytelling.
• Create, review and publish engaging copy while maintaining the resort’s tone of voice and visual identity.
• Oversee community management by responding to comments and messages promptly and escalating guest concerns when needed.
• Coordinate photo and video shoots with internal teams, agencies and external creators.
