Public Relations Executive

About the role

Five Hotels and Resorts is looking for a Public Relations Executive in Dubai. The role covers media relations, press coverage tracking, press kit management and stakeholder coordination, with administrative support for the Head of Department. Key responsibilities

• Maintain media coverage records and a weekly Top Press Coverage presentation, and keep an Awards Won and Recognitions tracker with certificates, badges and logos.
• Monitor media coverage across social media, media monitoring tools and online publications, and curate a media-friendly visual asset gallery and video library for the press kit.
• Support weekly press alerts, maintain a record of celebrity and VIP visits, and build an up-to-date database of media contacts, influencers and industry partners.
• Develop seasonal press pitches, distribute press releases, respond to media inquiries and interview requests, and coordinate media, influencer and VIP visits.
• Manage the Head of Department's calendar, support reporting, handle contract filing, financial records and invoices, and submit monthly attendance records.
• Monitor competitor activity and stay informed on hospitality, entertainment, dining and wellness trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of public relations experience preferred; experience in luxury, lifestyle, international travel or hospitality preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong communication, organisational and leadership skills.
