Purchase Executive - Marketing (Central Procurement)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Purchase Executive to turn marketing briefs into tangible results. Working within our Central Procurement team and using Coupa, you will source top UAE suppliers, negotiate terms, and manage the full procurement cycle from purchase order to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Review purchase requisitions in Coupa, ensuring scope, specifications, quantities and timelines are complete.
• Clarify unclear requirements with the requesting division and keep requisition status updated.
• Identify suitable UAE suppliers, issue RFQs/RFPs through Coupa and obtain comparable offers.
• Coordinate technical reviews, samples or site visits, while the business owner confirms technical acceptance.
• Prepare commercial comparisons, support negotiations and document recommended suppliers for approval.
• Maintain accurate Coupa records of quotations, approvals, negotiation results and procurement savings.
• Support supplier registration and onboarding processes.
• Follow up purchase orders with suppliers and internal teams to ensure delivery, GRN, invoicing and payment.
• Escalate delivery, quality or performance issues to the Procurement Manager.
• Adhere to AKI procurement policy, approval limits and confidentiality requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce or a related field.
• 3–5 years of procurement experience, with at least 2 years in the UAE market.
• Hands‑on experience buying marketing services, printing, branding, events or promotional materials.
• Strong written and spoken English and solid knowledge of UAE suppliers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Coupa or a similar e‑procurement system.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and commercial comparisons.
• Effective supplier sourcing and negotiation capabilities.
