Purchaser – Group Procurement

About the role

Ultrafilter, a global manufacturer of industrial, food‑grade and sterile filters, is expanding its group purchasing team in Dubai. We are looking for an experienced Purchaser to manage sourcing of filter media, components and finished products for our worldwide operations.

Key responsibilities

• Buy filter media, pleat packs, end caps, housings, components and finished products from suppliers in China, India and Europe.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, minimum quantities and delivery terms within approved limits.
• Place and expedite purchase orders in the ERP system, keeping delivery dates up to date.
• Run Kanban and reorder loops to ensure production never waits for material.
• Coordinate supplier quality with the Quality team, handling certificates, test reports and non‑conformities.
• Manage import paperwork, Incoterms, customs and origin certificates with logistics partners.
• Report monthly supplier performance and propose alternative sources.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of industrial purchasing experience with components, technical materials or filtration.
• Hands‑on experience buying from Chinese and Indian suppliers and basic knowledge of Incoterms and customs.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• ERP purchasing (SAP, Oracle, Odoo or similar).
• Advanced Excel.
• Kanban / MRP planning.
• Supplier negotiation and performance monitoring.
• Incoterms and customs documentation.

What we offer

• Salary AED 9,000‑12,000 per month, tax‑free, based on experience.
• Employment visa, medical insurance, 30 days annual leave, end‑of‑service gratuity and annual flight.
• Monday‑Friday, 09:00‑18:00 office in Business Bay.
