Purchaser - MEP

About the role

The Purchaser – MEP will analyse material requisitions for various contracts, identify suitable suppliers, negotiate optimal prices and coordinate logistics to ensure timely delivery. The role also includes maintaining inventory levels in line with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior staff in procuring materials, equipment, labour hire, sub‑contracts and services for construction sites.
• Obtain, review and compare supplier quotations and recommend the best options.
• Place purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules to meet project timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory and supplier performance.
• Collaborate with divisional, project and site managers to understand material needs.

Required profile

• Minimum 60 months (5 years) of procurement experience in construction or MEP projects.
• Strong understanding of high‑voltage, low‑voltage and solar‑energy systems.
• Ability to work closely with project teams and manage supplier relationships.
