Purchasing Officer

About the role

Sanipex Group is seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Purchasing Officer to manage end‑to‑end procurement activities across its fast‑paced trading environment. The role involves coordinating with suppliers, optimizing inventory, and supporting new product development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase orders and negotiate terms with suppliers.
• Coordinate deliveries, resolve issues, and ensure timely receipt of goods.
• Optimize inventory levels and maintain accurate procurement records using ERP systems.
• Monitor supplier performance and generate performance reports.
• Support project‑based purchasing, sample ordering, and item‑code generation.
• Produce purchase analysis and supplier performance reports using advanced Excel tools.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
• Strong understanding of supply‑chain and inventory operations.
• Excellent negotiation, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with Logistics, Sales, Warehouse, Marketing, Specifications and Accounts teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Commerce or related field.
• Fluent English; UAE driving licence is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle or similar ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel reporting and analysis.
