QA Engineer – Airline IROPS Systems

About the role

We are looking for a QA Engineer specialized in Airline IROPS (Irregular Operations) Systems to ensure the quality of flight‑disruption, cancellation and re‑booking processes. The role involves hands‑on testing of passenger reaccommodation, crew recovery and airport delay‑management workflows in a fast‑paced environment. You will work closely with operations and IT teams to validate system behavior during real‑time disruption events.

Key responsibilities

• Execute functional testing of passenger reaccommodation, crew recovery and airport operations systems during disruption scenarios.
• Coordinate with Operations Control, airport teams and IT to simulate time‑critical disruption events.
• Develop and maintain automated regression suites for IROPS workflows using Selenium, Playwright or REST Assured.
• Perform defect triage, root‑cause analysis and provide stakeholder reporting during live drills.
• Maintain test documentation, metrics and status reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of QA experience in airline operations with deep knowledge of IROPS workflows.
• Proficiency with GDS/PSS platforms such as Amadeus Altéa and familiarity with NDC/IATA disruption standards.
• Experience in load and non‑functional performance testing of IROPS systems.
