QA Frontend Automation Engineer

About the role

deltaconX, a SaaS platform that helps businesses comply with regulations such as EMIR, MiFIR, SFTR, REMIT, MAS and HKMA, is looking for an experienced QA Frontend Automation Engineer in Abu Dhabi (Masdar City). Working closely with the QA Lead, you will expand the frontend automation capabilities, design and implement QA processes and help shape the future of QA within the company.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and execute manual test cases for the Angular-based frontend SaaS application.
• Design, develop, maintain and improve automated frontend UI and end-to-end test suites using the Playwright and Python-based automation framework.
• Drive continuous improvements in frontend quality and testing strategy, and support performance testing initiatives.
• Document test results, defects and processes in Jira and Confluence.
• Collaborate with Frontend Developers, Product Management, UX and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality features.
• Use modern AI-assisted tools to improve productivity, test quality and automation development.

Required profile

• Hands-on experience with Playwright; experience building automated tests with Python is strongly preferred.
• Strong experience designing, developing and maintaining frontend UI and end-to-end test suites.
• Strong understanding of manual testing and test management processes.
• Experience in performance testing.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, excellent written and spoken English, and a proactive, ownership-driven approach.
• Candidates must already be residents of the UAE.
