QAQC Civil Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a QA/QC Civil Engineer to lead quality assurance and control activities on our construction projects in Sharjah. The role involves developing and implementing the Project Quality Plan, ensuring compliance with client requirements, and coordinating quality processes across all site teams and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, implement and monitor the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and related QA/QC procedures.
• Review and approve Method Statements, develop Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and associated checklists/forms.
• Allocate QA/QC tasks to team members and provide training on quality requirements.
• Coordinate with site personnel and subcontractors to ensure effective execution of the approved PQP.
• Identify, calibrate, and maintain testing and measuring equipment; manage testing laboratory approvals.
• Inspect and test incoming materials and workmanship according to ITP, maintaining traceable records.
• Prepare and submit Requests for Inspection (RFIs) and liaise with clients to obtain clearances.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in QA/QC on civil construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of client‑approved quality procedures and standards.
• Ability to train and orient staff, workmen and subcontractor personnel on quality expectations.
