QA/QC Engineer – Engineering & Procurement

About the role

Aarvi Encon Limited is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to support engineering and procurement activities for projects in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on reviewing engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with client specifications, and coordinating quality processes between internal teams and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Review engineering deliverables from subcontractors (material requisitions, technical bid evaluations, IDs) against contractual QC requirements.
• Develop and obtain approval for Project Quality Plans and Engineering/Procurement Plans.
• Verify FEED documents, datasheets, design basis, and ensure adherence to client specifications.
• Manage criticality ratings, inspection levels, and material certification requirements during preparation of datasheets and specifications.
• Coordinate interface functions between engineering, quality departments, and external specialists.
• Ensure all supplies are sourced from pre‑qualified vendors listed in the company’s approved vendor list.
• Prepare and maintain quality control procedures, inspection and test plans, and work procedures.
• Participate in Pre‑Inspection Meetings, kick‑off meetings, and pre‑production reviews with suppliers.

Required profile

• Familiarity with ADNOC Onshore specifications and oil & gas industry standards.
• Experience reviewing engineering and procurement documents such as MR, TBE, IDs, vendor ITPs, MPS, MRB, and final dossiers.
• Ability to develop quality systems, procedures, and inspection plans.
• Good command of international codes and standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC, API, ISA, ISO, NEMA).
