QA/QC Engineer - Interior Fit-Out and Joinery

About the role

M Qube Interiors Carpentry LLC is a Dubai-based interior fit-out and carpentry/joinery company delivering residential, commercial, retail and corporate projects. It is hiring a full-time QA/QC Engineer to support consistent workmanship and compliance throughout project execution, from material receipt and installation through final handover.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain project quality plans, inspection checklists and inspection and test records for fit-out and joinery works.
• Inspect carpentry, furniture, gypsum and ceiling works, partitions, flooring, painting and finishing against approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate site inspections with project teams, subcontractors, consultants and clients, and document observations and approvals.
• Identify non-conformances, issue corrective action requests, track resolutions and verify completed remedial work.
• Review material submittals and delivery conditions, and monitor workmanship and installation quality at each stage.
• Maintain quality documentation, prepare progress and handover records and help improve site quality processes.

Required profile

• Practical QA/QC experience in interior fit-out, construction, carpentry or joinery projects.
• Ability to inspect furniture, joinery, gypsum and ceiling works, partitions, flooring, painting and finishing against drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail in spotting defects, recording inspection results and verifying remedial work.
• Organized, dependable coordination with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and project personnel, including regular site inspections.

Required skills

• Knowledge of quality plans, inspection and test plans, checklists, material approvals, non-conformance reporting and corrective actions.
• Ability to read construction drawings, specifications and submittals and communicate findings clearly.
• Competence in preparing quality records, inspection reports and handover documentation with standard office tools.
