QA/QC Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a QA/QC Engineer to support our marine and dredging projects in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on preparing and implementing project‑specific quality plans, ensuring compliance with standards, and maintaining accurate quality records.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare project‑specific quality plans and procedures for senior review and approval.
• Ensure that only approved quality procedures, standards and specifications are available on site.
• Coordinate with field inspection and construction teams to apply quality control systems and plans.
• Collate and log daily QC data on the QA/QC dashboard.
• Follow up with inspection teams to resolve non‑conformities and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor inspection activities to guarantee work is performed within project timeframes and standards.
• Review and track non‑conformances identified during inspections.
• Maintain proper documentation of QC inspection activities to reflect current inspection and test status.

Required profile

• Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, applicable standards and specifications.
• Ability to prepare and review quality plans and procedures.
• Strong coordination skills with field inspection and construction teams.
• Attention to detail for daily data logging and documentation.
• Proactive approach to resolving non‑conformities and implementing corrective actions.
