QA/QC Engineer – MEP

About the role

The QA/QC Engineer – MEP will control and distribute all quality documentation, monitor quality activities, and ensure compliance with contractor and client requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Control and distribution of all company quality documentation.
• Monitor all quality‑related activities on the project.
• Perform internal and external audits on behalf of management.
• Verify contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors and review contractor documentation submittals.
• Attend pre‑bid meetings and coordinate project requirements with bidders.
• Participate in client quality management meetings.
• Prepare and control project quality system documentation prior to commencement.
• Review quality inspection personnel qualifications and training requirements.
• Monitor disposition of issued non‑conformance reports.
• Track progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system.
• Recommend and implement improvements when required.
• Coordinate QA/QC activities with the site QC manager and procurement manager.
• Manage quality‑related correspondence with customer representatives.
• Monitor statistical reporting and close customer complaints.
• Control all achievement documentation upon project completion.
