QA/QC Engineer – Overhead Transmission Lines (OHTL) Projects

About the role

We are hiring a qualified QA/QC Engineer to support transmission line projects across the Gulf region. The role focuses on quality management for 220 kV, 400 kV and 765 kV overhead transmission line works, ensuring compliance with international standards and client specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor QA/QC systems, procedures, and project‑specific quality plans.
• Conduct inspections for foundations, tower erection, stringing, and substation works.
• Review and approve material testing reports to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors on all QA/QC matters.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation such as ITPs, checklists, NCRs, method statements, and quality reports.
• Lead internal audits and ensure accurate record‑keeping of all QA/QC activities.
• Identify, report, and resolve non‑conformances in collaboration with project teams.
• Support construction teams in upholding quality and HSE standards on‑site.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil or Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
• 5 to 14 years of proven QA/QC experience on overhead transmission line projects (220 kV/400 kV/765 kV).
• ISO certification (Internal Auditor – preferred).
• Valid passport with at least nine months of validity for Gulf assignments.
• Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
