QA/QC Inspection Engineer

About the role

BINTEC is looking for a QA/QC Inspection Engineer in Abu Dhabi, UAE, within the oil, gas and petroleum industry. The engineer performs quality inspections of electrical or mechanical equipment, materials and parts before they are delivered to clients or job sites.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections of electrical or mechanical equipment, materials and parts prior to delivery to clients or job sites.
• Verify compliance with purchase orders, client specifications, datasheets and applicable international standards.
• Review and verify manufacturer test certificates, material traceability and compliance documents.
• Prepare inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs) and quality documentation for client submission.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using appropriate tools and instruments.
• Support procurement by evaluating supplier quality performance and assisting with supplier audits.
• Ensure proper handling, storage and packing of equipment before dispatch.
• Maintain organized records of all inspection-related documentation and certifications.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
