QA/QC Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

The QA/QC Manager will lead quality assurance and control activities for civil construction projects, ensuring that all materials, installations, and processes meet project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to embed quality into every phase of the project.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement project‑specific QA/QC plans for civil works.
• Define quality objectives, procedures, and benchmarks for performance evaluation.
• Conduct inspections and tests on materials, equipment, and installations to verify compliance.
• Supervise site quality inspectors and technicians throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and verify subcontractor and vendor quality plans.
• Identify, document, and resolve non‑conformances, performing root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain non‑conformance logs and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies for inspections, certifications, and audits.
• Prepare detailed QA/QC reports, including inspection results, deviations, and corrective actions.
• Present quality performance metrics to senior management and clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• Proven experience in QA/QC management within civil construction.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
