QA/QC Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned QA/QC Manager to lead quality management across our construction portfolio in the UAE. The role will drive compliance with ISO 9001, local regulations and client specifications while fostering continuous improvement on site.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) aligned with ISO 9001 and project requirements.
• Ensure all construction activities meet specifications, codes and UAE regulatory authority requirements.
• Lead internal and external audits, manage corrective and preventive actions, and oversee QA/QC activities on multiple civil, structural, mechanical and infrastructure projects.
• Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements and material submittals.
• Monitor site inspections, maintain quality documentation (NCRs, CARs, audit reports) and provide regular performance reports to senior management.
• Lead and mentor QA/QC engineers, inspectors and document control teams, and coordinate with project managers and consultants on quality matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 15‑20 years of QA/QC experience in construction, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience on large‑scale projects in the UAE or GCC.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification preferred.
• Membership in a recognized engineering body is an advantage.

Required skills

• ISO 9001 quality management system implementation.
• Proficiency with QA/QC documentation and reporting tools (NCRs, CARs, audit reports).
• Preparation and review of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and method statements.
• Strong knowledge of construction standards, specifications and UAE regulatory frameworks.
