QAQC Manager – Construction Quality Assurance

About the role

The Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QAQC) Manager will lead the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System for high‑rise building projects. The role ensures that all construction activities, materials, workmanship, inspections and testing meet project specifications, approved drawings, consultant requirements, applicable codes and UAE regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the Project Quality Management Plan (PQMP) and ensure compliance with all contract and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee inspection and testing activities for civil, structural, architectural and finishing works, including the preparation and approval of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Conduct regular site inspections, quality audits and monitor construction against approved shop drawings and specifications.
• Review and approve material submittals, method statements, inspection requests and test reports; coordinate with third‑party laboratories.
• Maintain quality records, prepare performance reports and manage document control for QA/QC activities.
• Liaise with consultants, clients and authorities on quality matters and ensure timely resolution of comments.
• Lead, train and evaluate the QA/QC team, promoting a quality‑focused culture.
• Identify improvement opportunities and implement lessons learned across the project.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience managing QA/QC functions on large construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction codes, standards and regulatory requirements.
