QA/QC Manager – Roads, Bridges & Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead quality assurance and control activities on our road, bridge and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. The role will establish and maintain the project quality management system, ensuring compliance with client specifications, local authority regulations and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Project Quality Management System, including PQP, method statements and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Lead a team of QA/QC engineers and inspectors, supervising site activities to guarantee adherence to approved drawings and specifications.
• Review and approve material submittals, coordinate laboratory and on‑site testing in line with ASTM, BS and ADQCC standards.
• Manage the Non‑Conformance Report (NCR) process, driving corrective and preventive actions to closure.
• Act as the primary liaison with consultants, clients and Abu Dhabi authorities (DMT, ADM, TAQA) for inspections, audits and approvals.
• Organise internal and external quality audits and maintain comprehensive documentation for handover and as‑built records.
• Oversee project close‑out activities to ensure all quality requirements are satisfied.

Required profile

• UAE resident with a minimum of 10 years experience in road, bridge and infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record of managing QA/QC teams on large‑scale construction sites.
• In‑depth knowledge of Abu Dhabi construction regulations and authority procedures.
• Strong experience with material approval, testing and NCR management.
