QC Inspector – Electrical, Instrumentation & Fabrication

About the role

Target Engineering is seeking an experienced QC Inspector specialized in Electrical, Instrumentation and Fabrication to support large‑scale EPC projects in the oil & gas sector. You will ensure that all installations and fabricated components meet the highest quality, safety and compliance standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect electrical and instrumentation installations against drawings, specifications, ITPs and international standards.
• Verify cable tray, cable laying, terminations, panels, junction boxes, field instruments and related E&I systems.
• Witness and document testing activities such as insulation resistance, continuity, loop checks, functional, pre‑commissioning and commissioning tests.
• Check hazardous area installations for compliance with applicable codes.
• Review calibration certificates, test reports and inspection records.
• Perform structural steel, supports, skids and instrument stand inspections, ensuring material traceability and compliance.
• Monitor welding, dimensional checks, surface preparation, coating and final acceptance.
• Support Project Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans and Quality Control Procedures.
• Raise and track Non‑Conformance Reports and assist with corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain inspection reports, quality records, loop folders, calibration logs and turnover documentation.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of QA/QC experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, power or related industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and EPC quality standards.
• Proven ability to work on‑site, coordinate with clients, PMC representatives and third‑party inspectors.
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
