QC Inspector – Painting & Coating

About the role

We are seeking a QC Inspector specialized in painting and coating to join our quality control team on a high‑profile project in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure that all coating and painting works meet the required technical specifications, standards, and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Review project specifications, drawings, and BOQ to define quality and engineering criteria for materials, workmanship, and testing.
• Perform verification inspections of work elements related to electrical & instrumentation (E&I) works to ensure compliance with procedures and project requirements.
• Conduct on‑site receiving inspections of coating and painting materials.
• Prepare and review concrete specifications, mix designs, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Apply coating and painting testing standards for onshore and offshore construction projects.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Coating & Painting QC Inspector in the oil & gas sector.
• Familiarity with Shell DEP’s and international codes & standards.
• Certification: NACE Level II or CSWIP/BGAS Grade 2.
• Fluent English; prior experience on ADNOC projects is preferred.
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office.
