Quality Assurance Manager – Logistics & Supply Chain

About the role
We are looking for a seasoned Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality, regulatory and compliance functions across our healthcare logistics and supply chain operations in the UAE. As the Pharmacist In Charge, you will ensure that all pharmaceutical, medical device, FMCG and healthcare products meet the highest standards and comply with local regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage QA operations for pharmaceuticals, medical devices, FMCG and healthcare products in line with UAE regulatory requirements.
- Act as the Pharmacist In Charge, ensuring compliance with MOHAP, Dubai Municipality, GDP/GSDP and related regulations.
- Lead ISO, supplier, customer and regulatory audits and inspections.
- Implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) across warehouses and distribution centers.
- Oversee import/export regulatory activities, permits, customs documentation and authority approvals.
- Review and approve SOPs, deviations, CAPA, change controls, risk assessments and investigations.
- Handle product quality complaints, recalls, non‑conformance investigations and corrective actions.
- Monitor warehouse storage conditions, temperature control, transportation compliance and cold‑chain requirements.
- Coordinate with MOHAP, Dubai Municipality, DHA, suppliers and other authorities on quality matters.
- Supervise QA activities related to product release, stock control, returns, damaged goods and expiry management.
- Conduct internal quality trainings and maintain all QA documentation.
Required profile
- Licensed Pharmacist under the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP).
- Certified Internal Auditor / Lead Auditor (ISO standards preferred).
- Six Sigma certification is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of GDP/GSDP, UAE regulatory requirements and QMS.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, FMCG or healthcare distribution.
- Proven track record handling ISO audits, supplier audits and regulatory inspections.
- Good understanding of import/export regulatory processes and authority coordination.
