Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer

About the role

The QA/QC Engineer will ensure that all construction activities, materials, and workmanship meet project specifications, contract requirements, and international quality standards. This role involves implementing quality control procedures, conducting inspections, and coordinating with site teams, consultants, and clients on a daily basis.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect civil, structural and finishing works on site to verify compliance with project specifications.
• Check materials and ensure they meet the required standards.
• Maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality records, and inspection reports.
• Raise Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and follow up on corrective actions.
• Coordinate with the site team, consultants, and clients to obtain necessary approvals.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and project‑specific quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 3–8 years of QA/QC experience in construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction standards and QA/QC procedures.

Required skills

• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management standards.
• Ability to develop and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and quality records.
• Experience raising Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and coordinating corrective actions.
