Quality Controller (QC Specialist)

About the role

A manufacturer in the UAE is looking for a dedicated Quality Control (QC) Specialist to ensure that all products meet established quality standards. The role covers thorough quality checks, accurate documentation and equipment calibration to support quality assurance and control processes. The position is permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine quality checks on incoming materials, in-process production and finished products
• Implement and maintain quality assurance and quality control procedures in line with company and regulatory standards
• Perform equipment calibration and preventive maintenance checks according to schedules
• Maintain detailed quality documentation, including inspection reports, calibration records and non-conformance reports
• Identify, document and report quality issues, and work with production and engineering teams on corrective actions
• Monitor key quality metrics and prepare regular reports for management review
• Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP and other relevant industry standards

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or a related field
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in quality checking, quality assurance and quality control in a manufacturing or similar environment
• Strong understanding of QA/QC methodologies and applicable regulatory requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
