Quality & Hygiene Officer

About the role

The Quality & Hygiene Officer ensures that all food and beverage operations meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and hygiene. You will support the implementation of quality assurance systems, conduct regular inspections, and help foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections to verify compliance with quality, hygiene, and food safety standards.
• Monitor adherence to SOPs, temperature logs, labeling, and traceability records.
• Assist in internal and external audits, prepare documentation, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Support the development and delivery of hygiene and food safety training for operational teams.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, incidents, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with suppliers to evaluate compliance and document performance.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety regulations.
• Experience conducting audits and preparing compliance reports.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify non‑conformities.
• Good communication skills for training and reporting.
