Quality Inspector

About the role

The Quality Inspector will ensure that all construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs). Working on both civil and oil & gas projects, you will coordinate inspections, manage quality documentation, and support the resolution of non‑conformances to deliver high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Review approved drawings, specifications and method statements to define inspection requirements.
• Plan and schedule daily inspection activities with engineers, supervisors and site teams.
• Conduct inspections and testing in line with ITPs for civil, structural and field works.
• Prepare, submit and follow up Work Inspection Requests (WIR) and Material Inspection Requests (MIR).
• Participate in joint inspections with consultants, clients and third‑party inspectors.
• Maintain daily quality inspection reports and ensure proper filing of all records.
• Identify non‑conforming works, raise Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and track corrective actions to closure.
• Support root‑cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers on quality issues and assist the Quality Engineer during audits.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 4 + years of experience in construction quality control.
• Familiarity with inspection and test plans, non‑conformance reporting and corrective‑action processes.
• Ability to work on site in Abu Dhabi and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
