Quality Manager

About the role

The Quality Manager will lead the planning, implementation and monitoring of the facility’s quality improvement programme. Reporting to senior leadership, the role ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards while fostering a culture of continuous quality across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, initiate and oversee a comprehensive quality improvement programme aligned with organisational needs and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with all departments to implement, evaluate and continuously refine quality initiatives.
• Provide leadership for JCIA compliance and other accreditation standards.
• Design and manage systems for the collection, analysis and reporting of performance measurement data.
• Drive patient‑centred improvement projects using satisfaction surveys, focus groups, mystery shopper programmes and incident reports.
• Supervise internal and external research activities, including qualitative interviews, focus groups and data interpretation.
• Monitor staff performance and study quality to ensure timely delivery within budget.
• Prepare and submit required regulatory event reports and contribute to the quality budget.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading quality improvement programmes within a healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards, particularly JCIA.
• Excellent coordination and stakeholder‑management skills across multiple departments.
• Ability to analyse complex data and translate findings into actionable improvements.
• Leadership capability to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
