Quality Manager – Offshore Project

About the role

KBR is seeking a senior Quality Manager to lead QA/QC activities for an offshore project based in Abu Dhabi. The role is responsible for establishing, implementing and maintaining the Project Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with client, contractual and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan and ensure alignment with ISO 9001 and client specifications.
• Lead all QA/QC activities across engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning and offshore operations.
• Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans, Method Statements and quality procedures.
• Manage vendor and subcontractor quality, conduct audits and monitor manufacturing performance.
• Plan and conduct internal and external quality audits, track findings and ensure corrective actions are closed.
• Lead investigation of non‑conformances, perform root‑cause analysis and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Marine, Metallurgical, Industrial or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 18 years of QA/QC experience in oil & gas, offshore or EPC projects, with at least 5 years in a quality management leadership role.
• Proven experience on offshore platforms, subsea systems, jackets, topsides, pipelines or FPSO projects.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication, construction, installation and commissioning quality requirements.
