About the role

A trading firm in Dubai is looking for a mid‑to‑senior Quant Researcher & Trader to develop and optimise systematic trading strategies across exchange‑traded markets. The role involves extracting predictive signals from market data and contributing to production‑grade algorithmic trading systems in a low‑latency environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop predictive trading signals using statistical modelling and machine learning techniques.
• Conduct market microstructure research with tick‑level and order‑book data.
• Build scalable back‑testing pipelines and perform robustness testing across market regimes.
• Improve execution logic, inventory management models and collaborate with engineers to deploy production‑ready signals.

Required profile

• MSc or PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Financial Engineering or a related quantitative discipline.
• 5–8+ years of experience in quantitative research or systematic trading environments.
• Strong foundation in probability, statistics, optimisation and time‑series modelling.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• C++ (preferred).
