Quantitative Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Quantitative Developer to lead the design, build and scaling of a new systematic trading infrastructure in Dubai. You will work closely with quantitative researchers and a senior portfolio manager to turn research ideas into production‑ready strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and maintain end‑to‑end trading systems, including data ingestion, signal generation, back‑testing, execution and risk management.
• Lead a small team of developers and collaborate with quants to translate research prototypes into high‑performance C++/C# code.
• Optimize order execution, integrate with exchanges via FIX/DMA, and implement real‑time risk monitoring.
• Oversee data pipelines, ensure low‑latency access, and manage deployment pipelines, CI/CD and production support.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience building high‑performance trading systems, preferably in a systematic equities or quant environment.
• Strong communication skills to work directly with researchers and traders.
• Ability to drive projects independently while collaborating in a fast‑paced team.

Required skills

• C++ or C# (performance‑critical components)
• Python (scripting, research integration)
• SQL and modern database design (column‑store, time‑series)
• Multithreaded / concurrent programming, algorithms and data structures
• Version control (Git), unit testing, CI/CD, logging and monitoring
• FIX protocol, direct market access, order routing
