Quantity Surveyor – Civil (Construction)

About the role

ASGC is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor – Civil to join its Abu Dhabi team. The role focuses on managing commercial and contractual aspects of high‑rise and building projects across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the project's commercial and contractual activities.
• Prepare and review budgets, cost plans, and project forecasts.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations and payment applications.
• Prepare variations, claims and supporting documentation.
• Monitor project costs and identify potential commercial risks.
• Coordinate with project, procurement, finance and subcontractor teams.
• Ensure timely submission of interim valuations and settlement of final accounts.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of quantity surveying experience, preferably with main contractors.
• Proven experience in building and high‑rise construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of cost planning, budgeting, tendering, procurement and contract administration.
• Experience preparing interim valuations, subcontractor payments, cost reports and final accounts.
• UAE/GCC construction experience is preferred.
