Quantity Surveyor – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its engineering and construction team in the United Arab Emirates. You will be responsible for accurate measurement, pricing and post‑contract administration on large infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Measure and price works using contract drawings, specifications and Bills of Quantities.
• Manage post‑contract QS functions including interim and final payments, variations, cash‑flow monitoring and claims.
• Provide contractual advice, audit contractor payments and ensure completeness of valuations.
• Prepare variations, day‑works and monitor final cost estimates.
• Maintain expenditure records, review and negotiate claim settlements.
• Coordinate and monitor the QS team’s activities and prepare monthly financial statements.
• Perform any other duties appropriate to the position.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 10 years of experience on large infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of post‑contract administration.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly with management and staff.
