Quantity Surveyor

About the role

KN International is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its team in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for cost control, Bill of Quantities (BOQ) preparation, and contract administration on residential villa and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for cost management, BOQ preparation, and contract administration for assigned projects.
• Develop and implement cost‑control strategies, conduct budgeting, forecasting and cost analysis.
• Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle, identify deviations and apply corrective actions.
• Administer contracts, negotiate terms, pricing and variations, and manage claims or change orders.
• Evaluate vendor proposals, pre‑qualify suppliers, and oversee invoice approval and payments.
• Generate regular cost reports, variance analysis and provide financial recommendations to senior management.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather cost data and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction, preferably in the UAE.
• Experience with TRANSCO or TAQA approvals is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and financial abilities with excellent negotiation and communication skills.

• Experience using project management tools.
• Ability to work with financial analysis software.
